	Washington, DC Hearing March, 1999 The Joint Conference visited Montana Terrace while in Washington, DC. Once a public housing project in need of revitalization, the Montana Terrace "Sm@rt Home Community" is a mixed-income community with state-of-the-art broadband connections to the Internet, including access to distance learning and telemedicine services. 	Western Field Hearings Tacoma, WA and Anchorage, AK April, 1999 The Joint Conference first visited Tacoma, Washington, where it learned about the Forks Project, Bonneville Power Administration and Satsop.
